H-Town stand up! Texas natives Megan Thee Stallion and global superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter have teamed up for the "Savage" remix. That collective screeching you probably heard was a result of gay boys everywhere losing their minds. In true Yonce fashion, nobody saw this one coming, but we're glad they decided to bless us.
The "Hot Girl Summer" singer took to Instagram to share her excitement over the release of the remix. "I'm literally crying... being from HOUSTON MF TEXAS this shit means EVERYTHING to me !!!! SAVAGE REMIX FT THE QUEEN @BEYONCE OUT NOW! All the artist proceeds of the song goes to @breadoflifehou to support our city during this pandemic! HOTTIES WE UP," she wrote, alongside a snippet of the song.
The remix still features the rapper's TikTok-viral hook, cushioned by ad-libs and sultry rap verses from Queen Bey. "If you don't jump to put jeans on then you don't feel my pain," she proclaims before firing: "Please, don't give me hype / Write my name in ice / Can't argue with these lazy b----es, I just raise my price / I'm a boss, I'm a leader / I pull up in my two-seater / And my mama was a savage / N----, I got this s--- from Tina."
